I know, I know.You have paid for the lesson and you don't want to be embarrassed by leaving the water early. But you child is tired, you can tell.
Please don't persist if your child has had enough. It is most important that the water is associate with fun and enjoyment.
If your teacher is any good, they will be encouraging you to hop out anyway. In fact if your swim teacher is insistent that you stay through the whole lesson, even when it is clear that baby has had enough, then it may be time to consider a different teacher.
If your a new Mum and you are not sure of what the signs are, then the video below will be a big help. And it is important to know that it is presented by the daughter of Laurie Lawrence. You would be hard pressed to get better authority than that. No matter what your swim teacher says.
