Where the hell is Easy St?
I parked behind a car at work today that had a bumper sticker that said, "Where the hell is Easy St?" and that summed up just how I have been feeling since we got back from Maui. Last night I was up with baby at 12:30am, 2:30 am, 5am, and 6:30 am. Teething. I hate that word.
Liam's morning hair. I had a revelation or two during our trip and we're working toward some changes around here. Bill and I have been splitting baby duty during the night, and we were both so exhausted that we weren't talking or getting along with each other. So now I am on night duty Sun-Thur by myself. Bill has the weekends and I get to sleep in on Wed for an extra hour or two. We are already getting along better and now we are alternating tiredness rather than sharing it.
Lack of sleep is keeping me from working out like I want to, but I think I will be able to get back at it again after a few weeks of adjustment. Five to seven hours of broken sleep a night doesn't allow for the energy stores needed to triathlon train. I'll get back it. I just need a nap really bad.
I have a bunch of stuff on my mind right now and too many projects up in the air. Every weekend is planned in May and there is no down time in the foreseeable future. Perhaps I need some directions to Easy St.?
