That Woman Who Won the Marathon Right After She Gave Birth

I got to yoga class right before start time and the room was crammed full of people so we squeezed into a spot and immediately I'm uncomfortable. It's warm, people are breathing heavy and if I spread my arms beyond my narrow yoga mat I will touch my too close neighbor. That's it! I almost walked about before class started but Bill urged me to stay longer, which in the long run... didn't help. BYE BYE strange denizens of yoga class, I will do my yoga at home with the company of my kitty cats.

Now that that is over with, I'll probably replace that time slot with aqua jogging or walking on the indoor track, maybe some light weight lifting. Who knows what I will be able to do as I get bigger. Speaking of that, I can't tell you how annoying it is when people say something about "that marathon woman who had her baby and then won the NY marathon a month later." OK people, the woman is a genetic freak, she is one of the few women on the entire planet that could do that, she is not any woman. I ran into one of our hard core Ironman friends who recently had a baby and asked her for workout advice while being pregnant and she said she couldn't run her entire pregnancy because it hurt. This same woman lead off the bike at Ironman Florida not so long ago. I think I'll just see what happens. Paula Radcliffe is an out lier on the charts people. I think if one more person says that to me I'll say something about Bill Gates and how he made millions without a getting a college degree and how we should all try that. MEOW!
